Animal Health Stakeholder Webinar Series
USDA’s National Institute of Food & Agriculture and Agricultural Research Service work together to promote livestock production systems that are efficient, economically competitive, and environmentally sound. Our agencies help ensure a high quality, quantity, and diversity of animal products as components of healthful diets; improve the security, safety, and resilience of the food supply; and enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of animal agriculture.
Our agencies hosted a series of webinars to identify, discuss, and prioritize the most pressing research, education and extension needs of our animal health stakeholders.

A general agenda is provided as a resource below.
As part of this webinar series we will continue to take stakeholder input on the topics based on the webinar discussions until December 2, 2016. Input can be provided via emailing animal.health@nifa.usda.gov. (Note: Include webinar topic in the subject line.) All comments received by December 2, 2016 will be reviewed and incorporated into our final report on stakeholder priorities. We anticipate the report being available on this website in early 2017.
A brief summary of the priorities addressed at the last ARS-NIFA Animal Health Stakeholder Meeting in 2010 is provided below as a resource. A list of the top priority diseases identified for each commodity group by the 2015 ARS stakeholder survey is also provided.
