Seminar OverviewThe AFRI Education and Literacy Initiative (formerly the AFRI Fellowships Grant Program) provides fellowships to undergraduate, graduate (predoctoral), and postdoctoral students whose projects encompass the AFRI Challenge Areas and AFRI Foundational Programs. The Improving Feeding Practices in Childcare Settings Project is aligned with the AFRI Childhood Obesity Prevention Challenge Area. After this webinar attendees will be able to name and differentiate between the three components of an integrated USDA-NIFA post-doctoral fellowship project, Identify caregiver feeding practices that can be used to overcome barriers to responsive feeding, and discuss the importance of early care and education settings for obesity prevention.
