2018 NIFA Listens: Hartford Listening Session
As part of the NIFA Listens initiative, stakeholders from any group or individual interested in agricultural research, extension, and education are invited to provide input to help ensure the strategic positioning and relevancy of NIFA’s investments in advancing agriculture. There will be four listening sessions across the United States, as well as an opportunity to provide written comments.
Individuals wishing to attend in-person listening sessions must have completed the RSVP in the input form no later than Thursday, October 4, 2018. If you are making a five-minute oral presentation, you must submit a short 250-word abstract describing your topic. Up to 80 participants can register to speak in person at each listening session.

Parking: Self-parking $16.00 (Per night fee)
Livestream: https://live.hosted.events/usda/ (Note: The listening session will be livestreamed, but oral presentations will be limited to in-person participants.)
Length: The event will last as long as there are speakers present. The session will end once all speakers have provided comment or by 5pm, whichever is earlier.
