Program:Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI) | Bioeconomy, Bioenergy, & Bioproducts (B3) Programs | Rangelands and Grasslands Programs | Environmental & Resource Economics Programs | Plant Breeding, Genetics & Genomics ProgramsThe USDA's, National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), Institute of Bioenergy, Climate, and Environment (IBCE) and the Department of Energy's Office of Science, Office of Biological and Environmental Research (OBER) announce the interagency Program to support genomics-based research that will lead to the improved use of biomass and plant feed stocks for the production of fuels such as ethanol or renewable chemical feedstocks. Please note that applicants will submit applications through DOE and a pre-application is requested rather than a letter of intent.
