Archived Webinars for 2016
The Institute of Food Safety and Nutrition (IFSN)Seminar Series aims to disseminate new knowledge, engage with partners and stakeholders, and inspire the next generation of food safety and nutrition experts. Seminars are offered monthly and last one hour. The typical format is 45 to 50 minutes for the presentation and 10 to 15 minutes of questions and discussion.
The IFSN Seminar audience is a diverse group of Food Safety and Nutrition professionals including extension specialists, extension educators, university faculty, staff, students, and dietetic interns. Members of other federal agencies (e.g., ARS, FSIS, NIH, & CDC) and other NIFA Institutes (IYFC, IBCE, & IFPS) may be in attendance depending on the seminar topic.
Each IFSN Seminar is approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) to provide participating Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) or Nutrition and Dietetic Technicians Registered (NDTRs) with Continuing Professional Education Units (CEUs) for their attendance.*
